"Not too bad. You’re given chances to grow."
"I have worked for Konami gaming at las vegas"
"Management is very nice and responsive to work / personal lifestyle balance. However, they fail to implement proper engineering process to create robust products. Due to this and lack of some tools, my job has been 10 times harder to than it should be."
"This company values time and experience above all else. If you want a position with security and just fly under the radar, this is the place for you. Just don't expect good work to go noticed."
"I've worked at Konami for over 7 years. The climate and culture has dramatically decreased to a point where almost everyone is looking to leave the office. The U.S. office has no say in decision-making, HQ bogs down everything with lengthy online approval processes for EVERYTHING, even paying the utilities. No upward mobility (company-wide, not just for me). Only shining light is the HR department... they really do look out for you and try to get the best benefits available."
"I've worked for the company for 7 years. The company has great potential as a whole, some of the remote offices should be administered locally. The mindset is very Japan centric and sometimes misses the mark when making local decisions. There are about 120 folks in the office, very loyal, very hard working and truly love what they do. It was a very good experience working in the office."
"KonamI is very much a Japanese company, and as such it's steeped very much in Japanese business practices and mindset which can often lead to overly tense work environment. Favoritism often runs rampant in some departments and with no incentive to improve performance will leave many staff members often doing the bare minimum required of them."
"KonamI is a great company, however the work can get very demanding during certain times and new projects can come in while other projects are not near completion which can make things a bit hectic."
"Japanese company - very successful in Japan but struggles with Western culture."
"positive and rewarding"
