"Our office tax season was shorter then a traditional office."

"Since the office is a temporary location find a larger location for the volume of clients and workers."

"Plenty of opportunity for those looking to advance. Management does the right thing and not just the easy thing. They make a huge investments in training and education."

"Be decisive and display a sense of fairness. The Service likes decision makers that do the right thing. Overzealous sells well with a few but in a job where you will ultimately have a great deal of power you need to have balance."

"Some managers are a poor fit to their job. Mid and upper level management is slow to admit a mistake and very slow in making necessary changes."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Because we're part of Government we do move with the political winds. I think a little more resistance to this issue would provide both employees and the public with the fact that we are here year in and year out to fairly apply the law to all citizens"

"It is a seasonal job, about 4 months a year, but is interesting work with good people"

"I worked the evening shift which was a less formal work place. However the hours did not help my home life."

"the commute is very far for me and for my family it would be nicer to have a smaller commute"

"Internal Revenue Service could offer more volunteer opportunities which cover more fields to students."

"The assignments I was assigned coulde be diversified. Also, I believe I could learn more if this internship last longer."

"Reasonable salary, flexible work hours, immediate managers are approachable and helpful, senior management is a joke, they do not live in the real world."

"not a good place if you are ambitious and looking to make a mark as well as being suitably rewarded for your efforts"

"lack of respect for staff, no investigation of how changes being implemented impact on those actually doing the job. Basically you are a number and salary advancement and promotional opportunites are very limited"

"Attempt to get to know how his decisions impact on the services provided to taxpayers and place more value on his employees"
