"Intuit is an incredible company with smart people, inspiring leaders and a strategic plan that leads to success year after year. It's great to get so much training in innovation in order to build awesome products that delight customers. Like any large company, there are lots of meetings and layers of approvals, but the culture makes it all worth it."

What do you like about working at Intuit?

"I liked working collaborative with co-workers and peers on other teams and in other functions."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Each corporate division has its own culture. You need to be careful to find out if you mesh with that culture. Your immediate manager will determine if Intuit is a Great Place to Work or Living Hell. Also, pay attention whether or not the product is new. Older product lines could be underfunded and you may wind up working long hours because the product is understaffed. Generally it is great to be a developer at Intuit - you will get white space time and great managerial support. Any other group and you should be ready to change on a dime and drop all pretense of being an intelligent creative human being - you will be a cog in a machine and don't expect any more."

What don't you like about working at Intuit?

"The Managers are so numbers driven in this division they can't make good long term decisions."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Look at the big picture. Communicate goals and priorities clearly. Reduce the number of managers. Get rid of bonus pay. Get rid of annual reviews. Create more self-managed teams."

"Company gives me opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Find someone you know in the company to make sure you get the interview and the job."

What don't you like about working at Intuit?

"No growth opportunity, openings always go to friends of management, you can never have an opposing opinion without people getting bent out of shape. quality of people in IT is very low."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Please give the growth opportunity to internal candidates. Stop letting directors and VPs run the organization as it was their own business. Please bring honest, competent senior management on board. It worries me at times what will happen to the company with low morals and incompetent sr. leaders in organization."
