"I worked with intiuit for almost a year and it was a pleasure working there because all the employees including the management were nice to us. No pressure, however, we were able to execute the results. It was a peaceful place to work and the management offered a lot of training for our progress."
"I worked for Intuit for one year, it was great on paper. There was a lot of internal issues with management, and eventually brought this to light. Unfortunately had to pursue new opportunities due to discrepancies that would have caused a major breach in security that they were unaware of, and I refused to take the blame for. I respect all HEAD leaders, and those directly below, its the front-line managers who have the big britches so to speak and use favoritism."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Each corporate division has its own culture. You need to be careful to find out if you mesh with that culture. Your immediate manager will determine if Intuit is a Great Place to Work or Living Hell. Also, pay attention whether or not the product is new. Older product lines could be underfunded and you may wind up working long hours because the product is understaffed. Generally it is great to be a developer at Intuit - you will get white space time and great managerial support. Any other group and you should be ready to change on a dime and drop all pretense of being an intelligent creative human being - you will be a cog in a machine and don't expect any more."

"The Managers are so numbers driven in this division they can't make good long term decisions."

What don't you like about working at Intuit?
"I do not like that management has not allowed me to work in a department that utilizes my strengths and passion that I desire to do for this company. Although I am in sales and am excellent in sales, my passion is technical support, data design and network infrastructure. Intuit is assisting me financially to achieve my BS Computer Science degree but has kept me stuck in sales for 5 years. I have passed all the certifications for Intuit products, am a ProAdvisor, yet I am still selling checks!"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Forget the good ole boy network in Fredericksburg, and management (excluding the director) mingling with friends at the work place. Recognize talent and where talent belongs and dump the dead baggage. Hire business consultants and not order takers. Do not be afraid because someone on the floor has more experience than you, learn how to utilize their talent to expand our business."
"The business tax division, historically, has a high churn rate for managers due to the seasonal aspect of the business and the Fredericksburg site was experiencing attrition because it was a remote (and an acquired) site and the company had other preferred sites to backfill personnel."
