Submit a Review"The Higher Education Research Experience Internship program was extremely rewarding. No amount of preparation could have readied me for the pace of work and speed of knowledge acquisition required to meet and exceed expectations of the interns. The interns worked hard, but received a once in a lifetime experience in return. They offered me a job as a software engineer at the end of the contract. My only complaint is that oak ridge is a small town."

"Come prepared. If you don't know what the company goals are then you have already have dug your own grave."

"It was long hours, didn't really get a balance within my personal life and it was super stressful at times."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I suggest that they take the time to listen to feedback from their interns and employees alike to allow some collaboration."
