"Very good all-round company."
"Intel is great place to work, you have a lot of control over your own career within the company. Most of the managers that I worked for cared about their employees and did a good job. Had they not closed the site where I was working I would still be there. I would not hesitate to recommend Intel as an employer."
"Intel is amazing, ranked 2nd in India for employee satisfaction. Great work culture. It has a unique culture of innovation. Employees are encouraged to independently handle projects and other responsibilities. Employee empowerment is prime focus of the company. Innovation is in company's DNA and company strives to be successful in the market."
"Intel Security is a Sales driven company. It is run like a private fraternity house. Boondoggles abound at the executive level with their private posses - skiing off sites, lap dances in Vegas. If you are not in sales, prepare to be ignored. Cloud products are woefully outdated and unstaffed - so no new features for cloud customers... Product teams ignore feedback from customers and other parts of the company - they've invested too much in their personal Pet Projects. They seem to "lay off" anyone of real substance... On the upside, they pay well and bonuses are substantial! But you can forget work / life balance..."
"OK in general. It's a job."
"Being a Process Engineer at Intel, specifically in D1D Ramp, is exactly as everyone says. Long hours, stressful, fast paced, on-call 24/7, and if you end up with a difficult module, you will have a much worse time than someone on another module. There's no such thing as work/life balance. However, you have access to the most sophisticated technology, in the best fab in the world. You are also fairly well compensated for your work. Manager/employee relations are not great, as you would expect from promoting technical nerds to management roles without extensive training. Also, the fab management hierarchy is very flat, often requiring horizontal moves before the possibility of any vertical moves."
"Excellent company, beyond excellent people. The Intel Capital Group has a lot of talented people and the support from the business unit experts is unmatched. There are strong personalities and bureaucracy to overcome which can hamper decision making and speed. Overall, this was a great place to work."
"I worked here for 4 years, it was a great place to work."
"I joined the CAD tools development group as an intern. It was quite fascinating to know the complexities involved in developing a CAD application. The people working in my team and the neighboring team were really cool and everyone in there breaths Moore's law. They were really helpful and patiently answered every question that I asked."
"Strong company with good ethical values and an emphasis on customer retention."
"Intel is a good company overall to work for. Good benefits, good quality of life, people are friendly. It can be a bit tough as a software engineer to get traction, or support for an agile way of working, since deadlines are pretty fixed and determined by mandated hardware schedules. As an engineer trying to make headway, you can get bogged down in the bureaucracy and getting recognition even though you can do quite a lot of work."
"I am currently a process engineer at Intel Packaging Research and Development site. I have been working in the same Epoxy Module for over 9 years handling Failure Analysis, Reliability, DOE, Capability Analysis and SAM Metrology needs."
