"I love having the ability and freedom to find creative solutions for business problems and solve them with technology. The owners give me a fair amount of leeway to find and implement solutions that integrate into our current architecture, or if need be, create a new architecture that will benefit us more in the long term. There is really nothing that I hate. I have the same stress and accountability that others do, which comes with the territory. Have thick skin, admit when you're wrong, and learn from mistakes."
"I love having the responsibility of handling information systems for a large organization. I hate not knowing what I'm doing and I love to remedy that through hard work, knowledge seeking, and producing results. I hate that my position was vacant for 5 years, because it left me with a lot of work to do to get my unit to an acceptable level of computer networking, information assurance, and communications efficiency. I do relish the opportunity to setting a high standard for my next replacement. I also love mentoring and encouraging my young soldiers to further their education and skill set."

"I would proceed with caution. There is a definite gender bias at play, and often folks are left to clean up and pick up the pieces when consecutive poor administrative decisions are made."
What don't you like about working at Goddard College?
"Senior administration is completely unaware of who or what they are managing, and likely will result in the college closing within the next few years."

"It's important to recognize and appreciate employees on an authentic and genuine level. Canned quips or remarks are predictable and carry little value."
