Founded in 1994 in Gainesville, Florida, the company was part of a new group of energy suppliers coming on the market in response to Florida’s deregulation of natural gas. They expanded into Georgia in 1998 and into New York and New Jersey in 2004. In 2005, they were the first energy marketer in all four states to offer a five-year fixed rate. In 2006, they were awarded the distinction of “Energy Supplier of the Year” by the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association. Their home office is still in Gainesville.

Beginning as a wholesale marketer, Infinite Energy now operates in the retail sector as well. They serve residential, industrial and commercial buyers. They have enjoyed continuous growth and are now one of the largest privately-owned companies in Florida.
