Implementation Project Manager at Anasazi Software
in Tempe, AZ

What do you like about working at Anasazi Software?

"I am very unhappy working at this company. Employee wellness is not promoted or encouraged. It is an unhealthy environment. Expectations are that you work evenings and weekends, on the plane, in the airport and in the hotel room. Management lacks basic abilities to mediate various personalities. The philosophy of leadership is my way or the highway and middle management are robotic droids that are not allowed to have thoughts or ideas outside of the mother ship."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Keep on looking. Money is not everything. If you do get the job, it isn't going to work out anyway unless some MAJOR changes take place within the company. They will search and search for the right hire and it will not be possible with the way things are set up right now. The burned out ones will eventually leave and the company may then be forced to take a look at their unprofessional managment."

What don't you like about working at Anasazi Software?

"Employees who remain with the company only stay because they are compensated well. They have sold their soul for the pay check. This company needs an independent consultant to consult with management . We are needing implementation managers ....they start and then leave or are let go. The company believes they just haven't found the right person for the job but the reality is; the business practices in human resources needs to change. The person in human resources is uneducated. They need more educated people who are not just computer techs to be a respected part of the company. At this time, anything that is related to the human aspect of management is not respected. It is an uneducated perspective of humanity and what motivates a company for success over the longterm. This company will never make it big unless there is change. I am concerned if there are not changes in how management handles employee issues, legal action will eventually (if it hasn't already) cause difficulty for the company in the area of human and employee treatment."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"First of all, the AnasazI product is exceptional . Money and profits are important...however....PEOPLE are more important. I would want my company to be exceptional in all areas from the product, profit and the human factor. I want a GOOGLE, I want an INTEL. I want a company where people work together. Where they have work/life balance and teamwork with others. Where management knows how to interact with various personalities and mediate differences in a pro human, pro business manner. I would develop the training program to educate new implementation managers in a way that would allow evaluation to be fair and unbiased, not evaluated by burned out, angry employees who have not education or human resource experience. The environment and culture would be supportive not waiting and wanting others to fail. The CEO needs to retire. The other CEO who left the company needs to come back."
