"Focus on customer satisfaction rather than short term profitability. Set a vision for 3-5 years that taps into the company's strengths."

"Hire into a growing division. Make sure you are happy with your starting salary, as raises are not often lately."

"There are too many managers that don't add any value to the programs. We hire bad candidates and end up firing good engineers because of company politics."

"Push managers to retain key talent. Invest more in research and development and enter new markets, not just follow what everyone else is doing."
