"ARC Technologies was okay...but when Hexcel took over there were a lot of changes and not all for the better. The pay is too low for most people. The culture has declined since Hexcel took over."

"Hexcel is a good organization but often lacks a central vision. Focusing on the aerospace market is going to be difficult for the next few years as travel decreases due to COVID."

Process Engineering Intern

"I worked for Hexcel Corporation for 1 year as a process engineering intern. I found the job to be extremely fulfilling and my coworkers and mentors helped me grow as a young engineer. Work was sometimes hectic, but this was expected working at a small engineering plant with prospects to expand in the near future. With the onset of COVID-19, I was unfortunately laid off, but was satisfied with the work I was able to complete in my time as an intern with Hexcel."

Product Manager

"I worked for Hexcel for my entire professional career starting out of college prior to being laid off due to the COVID-19 impact on Aerospace. They are a great company that employ some very intelligent people and have some of the best technical solutions in the Aerospace Composites industry. The company has a good balance between managing the stress of their employees and being result-oriented, which leads to a comfortable work environment. If there is one negative thing I noticed in my experience it was the location, being way out in Casa Grande was not ideal as I did not want to live out there so I had to commute almost an hour each day to work."

Project Engineer

"I worked for Hexcel since May 2012. It was a great company to work for providing me with the tools and resources to successfully complete my projects. I worked with a great team that was willing to support when needed. I had three different supervisors that were all great in different ways, I learned a lot from each one of them. Due to the Boeing 737 issues and the COVID-19, Hexcel had to lay off a substantial amount of workflow to keep the business going. I was one of the unfortunate ones to be let go."

Hexcel Employee

"God awful company to work for. They expect you to learn but won’t train you, they expect all of their employees to be the same like robots, and if you make one mistake they’ll fire you. I was fired for misplacing ONE part tag that was then reprinted anyways. Job security here is BS. They’ll fire you even if they just feel like it. If you have a family, PLEASE look elsewhere. And if not, still look elsewhere."

What don't you like about working at Hexcel?

"I would suggest that management invest more in retention. They seem to not care about feelings of their people. It is all business."
