Branch Manager

"I have worked for this company since 2007 and the first 5 years were all filled with very positive experiences. I appreciate all of the training and methods that I have been able to apply to my work with my time at the company. The biggest improvements I could see from this company are better salaries for managers, more employees per site and better customer service centers."

Junior Front End Developer

"While working at Hertz, I'd learned a lot from everyone around me - this is what I really enjoyed when I came to work each day. Even though we all worked crazy hours (sometimes over 60 hours per week), I enjoyed the experience very much. The lead consultant was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, I learned a lot from him. The three managers were very cool guys who kept on top of the project until the end. Some challenges arose, but it was a pleasure to get over them with the team."

"It has been a good experience for me so far. The company has many programs and benefits that you would expect from a large corporation. However, having the right size team seems to always be an issue."

"The direction of the company is in serious question and upper management is too involved in reporting and data tracking and micro management that it has gotten away from what made it a leader in the rental industry."

"Fairly good compensation, but not worth the effort. If you kill yourself, you will make decent bonuses. Horrible quality of life.... work so many hours, you are exhausted and have time for nothing else in your life. The free car is nice, but you better hope you don't run out of cars at the end of the day."

"I haven't worked for Hertz for too long, but I don't believe that metric based sales is a good working environment. It seems as if the company lacks communication in departments where it should be most important."

"Nice work environment. You work twice as hard and get little credit when picking up after less intelligent and lazy people. Incentives are given to agents that meet low call time. Nice department that allows you to move around & develop skills."

"I have worked for Hertz for about 7 months and I have to say that it is the one of the worst companies to work for. The job will wear you down. Low pay for the area I worked at. Overworked, over-stressed and underpaid."

"I worked with Hertz in Off-Airport Operations for 6 years. This is not a job for most people. It requires hard work and long hours, however there is lots of opportunity to promote and bonus. Those who adhere to Hertz sales standards and keep a positive attitude will find like minded people that are great to work with."
