"My position was a year long internship so I was not able to gain all of the benefits as a full time employee."
What do you like about working at Purdue University?
"It was close to home and class. I was able to gain experience of a real publication and design workload of a professional designer."

"It was only an internship. I wanted a full time job with them."

"Fantastic coworkers and a lot of personal freedom."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"The interview process has changed since I was hired in 2006. In the past it was a preliminary interview with a single manager and then an interview with the whole team. I'm not sure what the new method is."
What don't you like about working at Orlando Sentinel?
"There were many times when it seemed that there was no plan in place from management to stop the sinking of this proud paper."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Some managers were inflexible to the point of cruelty. There was an instance where an employee asked to take a short lunch a couple of days a week so that he may leave 15 min. early to be able pick up his child before the daycare closed. He was denied, and told that it would appear as too lenient to the other employees. This sort of thing was not uncommon. Yes, we are employees; no we are not robots."

"The environment is team based, fast paced, and the management is incredible and supportive."

"Understand that this is productions based, and the most important thing is getting the job done right, early, and you with work very hard."

"I was able to fulfill what I wanted to do and what I had gone to school for."

"Great place to work corporate office and or retail store locations, if you get the opportunity to work with RideNow, you won't be disappointed, but know your job, because they will utilize you beyond what you think you are capable of, and only push you to do better."

"There really isn't anything I could say I didn't like, the company was ideal for a career."

What do you like about working at Minuteman Press?
"Mr. McKeon was very willing to work with my school schedule to a degree. But when school obligations began to be more frequent, they were less and less willing to work with me. School meant everything to me. I knew that Minuteman Press was just a job, not a career. I had to leave them in the name of finishing the degree I had been working hard on for years."

"Cancel the interview and work for Kinkos."

"The work was very limited and mundane."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The pay needs to be comparable to other jobs doing the same kind of work in the area. Minuteman Press's pay was very low."

"The passionate people and the flexible work hours"

"No mobility, and no design process in place.. and my job is not rewarding any longer."

"Better communication skill with upper management would be a big plus"

"I rarely got paid, and when I did, it was often very low."

"I don't really know what could be done to improve that place They don't bring in enough money to hire decent help."
