"Google is a great place for new college grads where code is fresh in your mind. The interview process is hard but fair so brush up on Binary trees and don't bubble sort! Do not try to bs your way through this interview as they smell fear there and will eat you up. Make sure that if you talk about something on your resume you can back it up because they will grill you. And most of all Practice, Practice, Practice before you decide to apply for a job. Also it is hard to get promoted there as well."

"I love the opportunity I've been given to work with one of the most influential companies in the world, however, it's difficult to advance. They heavily rely on contract employees to do the work which can impact company culture."

"The sort of organization that inspire the team and the customers, an organization that knows why they exist (not about profit, revenue, result), by “why” I mean what is your purpose, what is your cause, what is your belief, why do you get out of bed in the morning, why should anyone care."

"I worked as a Technical Sourcer on a contract for over a year. You can learn a lot from their data studies & tools. Who your manager is can define how flexible rules are for you. Still many perks without being FTE, but work-life balance will be left in your hands. Recruiting/sourcing can sometimes never stop."

"Google is one of the best companies to work for in the world. However it is extremely difficult for TVC's who at times are looked over because they came into the company under a contract."

"Working for Google was absolutely amazing, although within my division of EXOS it was not the same story. EXOS is fresh into the world of Corporate Tech and my team could not support our facilities and clients with the amount of turnover we experienced in 2018. Keeping this in mind, working on the right team within Google whether it is as a FTE or TVC is crucial to success within the company."

"i have loved my time within my role as I was given an opportunity to learn both skills within my role and skills outside that would further my goals. I was able to work with a very supportive team that introduced me to Raspberri Pi's and showed me the many applications that we could use in order to make sure that I was able to work on my coding skills while working within the Tech Stop. I also was able to work within multiple Tech Stops across Mountain View and Sunnyvale to learn how to troubleshoot Windows, Macs, Chrome, and Linux devices."

"It was an amazing experience to work with software engineers in a professional environment. I was able to learn multiple skills that will be needed for work in the real world. Without this experience, I believe that I would still be very unprofessional in my field of work and would struggle in any upcoming jobs."
