"As a store manager and then a district manager,I was given the freedom to build the stores as I seen fit. I was able to do this through retraining employees and inventory control. As you can see from my resume this being the second store that I built, the store went from 13000 a week to over 37000 a week in sales."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"When stores build up and show constant improvement, there is no need to shut them down."

"The magnitude and distribution of the products I was buying and the support they gave you to accomplish your 96% availability of product at all times."

"Have a strong sense of the change you want to make, and implement those changes accordingly. Your employees will respect you more and they will work harder for you."

"I love Food Lion appreciation for its customers and the abilty to maintain a family envirnoment to keep cutomers returning for years to come."

"I do not care for the location that my store is set up at. Its a lower class area, however it gives my a chane to interact with my cusotmers on a first name status because they shop everyday."

"The way Food Lion manages the company, store manager, and department managers are great. They all have a great realationship and appear to have great communication skills because they are always on the same page."
