I started in customer service selling merchandise and quickly transferred to the Textbooks department where I was promoted to a team lead. The main goal of this company is to satisfy the customer and get them the course materials they need in a timely manner."

"The culture is great and the benefits are good. The technology usage is empowering to the end users. You'll likely have more contact with the end users than at any company you previously worked."

"There is little that I do not like at Follett. It's just a good time to consider other opportunities."

"Sales of products are increased by design excellence and understanding the demographic of the customer when designing store for a region in the United States. Know the customer."

"I really enjoyed learning their product, and then installing the product for schools. If there were any problems, I enjoyed troubleshooting and seeing where the problem was arising. I also enjoyed training the school personal on the system and how it worked."

"Sadly, they did not have a full time position available, but I knew this as it was a contracted position through Robert Half Technologies."

"It encourage team work and the project I participated cut across IT technical, software development, sales and marketing. It was challenging and interesting, because you'll learn to communicate a lot across a wide spectrum, documenting report, holding meeting across the globe, interacting with colleagues on resolving tech issues. Since I love writing, I enjoyed the project documentation for almost 70 projects I handled within a short time, when I look back, I always commend my efforts and thank Follett for giving me such opportunity"

"Believe in team work, do not claim to know it all, someone will always help you out if you run into a wall, accept failure it is not the end of the world. Learn to respect all the old guys at work even if you are more skillful, with sense of responsibility a new comer will fit into Follett easily"

"I love every bit of my stay at Follett, because we have young and old people working together as a team, no discrimination, everyone smile together, every suffer together, I always cherish the team spirit"
