I believe the company still has a way to go to be considered a good place to work without looking over your shoulders in fear of layoff."

"Objectives were not always clear; conservative mindset as to internal audit practices and thought"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The company as I knew it is no more as it was bought out by CheckFree and then later by Fiserv. Almost everyone I knew, including managment, is gone now. But if management were still in place, I would suggest that they work to better define the role of internal audit within the organization, especially to allow the audit function to invovle itself more in operational risk type projects within the company (not just focus on traditional, financial and accounting matters)."
