"Love the challenges. Love working with my store managers and on site personnel. Love the travel (you must be a road warrior). Hated being in a different hotel every night. No ability to advance AT ALL... Hated that the management would not listen to the employees on issues that concerned conditions in the field."

What do you like about working at Dish Network?
"Discounted tv service, some flexibility with time off and overtime."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Skip it. You can ask questions, they will lie. Mow lawns, rake leaves, shovel snow..."
What don't you like about working at Dish Network?
"Yes-sir culture. No one is allowed to ask questions or propose better ways of working. Criticism is predictably punished by dismissal or pay cut. Employees not treated as human beings. 14-20 hrs worth of work given to do every day, we're left to figure out what corners to cut. So many safety rules, cannot all possibly be followed. When safety rules do conflict with productivity management demands ignoring rules. Claims of promotion from within false."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Unemployment. There is only so much you can squeeze. At some point you spend more money trying to be cheap than you save by it. This line was crossed long ago."

"Over 200 flights and 150 hotel stays every year."
What do you like about working at Abbott Laboratories?
"Knowing the work helped improve patients health. Working with cutting edge Bio Medical Instruments."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I would not interview with them. Just expect to have far greater tasks assigned than in the job description."
What don't you like about working at Abbott Laboratories?
"95% travel, all at the last minute without any compensation time for putting in over 60 hours per week."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Quit burning out the good people you hire. Give hard workers a break and not expect overflow work to be accomplished while on vacation."

"Gained Experience in a vast amount of different applications. Learned how to dig and get a task done with little to no training or support."

"Over all its a good company to work for. They have their strengths and opportunities for improvement like any other company. Good Luck."

"Having to go to customers half prepared with sometimes little support."

"To let people specialize. Develop more Develop standards and audits. Show appreciation when people work long hours around the clock to make projects work."

"It was what I did for a living and what I enjoyed doing."

"Not really. All tips I may have are for the company and management."
What don't you like about working at Honeywell?
"Management, at least in my region of the country, was poor at best."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Be a part of your contracts, your customers, and your employees. Showing up twice a year for evaluations just does not make the cut."
