What do you like about working at Nielsen?
"Field Rep position had some flexibility, working from home, creating your own schedule to some degree, they provided you with a car, laptop, mobile phone, and internet service. It would have been excellent if the work load had been more balanced"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I think it is a great job first job or for someone in college or in the age range 21 - 29, single, because of the demands and pay."
What don't you like about working at Nielsen?
"supervisors, managers just did not seem to have an organized plan of action, we spent too much time trying to do the impossible. We had real equipment issues and most of the time they seemed to be in denial"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Have a game plan don't be quota/fault driven. have homes that really want to be in the survey and remove homes that refused to perform properly, instead of keeping them on because they meet a particular demographic/requirement. This caused major issues with area numbers and created unnecessary home visits."

"Just be yourself and so that you can be a great candidate for their company."

"I didn't like the way the downsized and eliminated my position as well as many other field reps without notifying us that we were being eliminated because they could directly do our jobs through the internet."

What do you like about working at Stryker?
"the travel was exceptional and exploring the many crevices of this nation was quite interesting. It was also very easing to be surrounded by intelligent and down-to-earth people."
What don't you like about working at Stryker?
"Too much travel (90%) and hardly worth the pay. After a year it just became nauseating to have to fly again and again and again. When the company relocated to Dallas, TX I opted out of moving with them (although the offer was substantial)."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"None. Management was incredibly in tuned with the subordinates. Its a very good place to work as long as you can tolerate the travel."

"Excellent opportunity to work with developmentally disabled."

"Not enough funding from the grants i.e., vesid, omrdd."
