"Inconsistent, often poor management."

What do you like about working at FedEx?

"Most of my co-workers were great! I also enjoyed the variety of work and the interesting people that came in for services."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you can, talk to the other employees to get a feel for overall morale. Ask the customers how well their projects are handled, what kind of customer service they receive. FXOffice can be a fun place to work even with poor management, but extremely stressful!!!"

What don't you like about working at FedEx?

"The management was very inconsistent from store to store, usually poor and sometimes miserable! My particular manager was the worst I have ever had in over 20 years in the printing industry. You know you're in trouble when the boss calls you in his office, where he's been locked in for several hours, to show you his latest YouTube find! This guy has been on Final Warning off and on for at least the last 18 months and is the laughing stock of the district, but they keep him on, why I worked for this person for 4 years and year after year he scored very low on the climate survey that the company institutes, but never received further training or counseling to help him be a better manager. This Portland, OR district seems to routinely treat those that work the hardest for them poorly and reward the incompetent and lazy. Judging from the other reviews I have read here, this seems to be a system wide problem."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest that they get better training for their store managers and look at their conduct toward their employees as well as their store's financial bottom line. PAY ATTENTION to what they're doing! If they aren't cutting it, get rid of them no matter how long they've been there."
