"Having held various administrative jobs in the past, it was always difficult for me to believe that it would ever be something I could make a career out of. Working at Vanderbloemen Search Group has been challenging and inspiring in ways I never thought possible. Not only have I improved in my skills and everyday work, I have also grown as a person through my friendships and working relationships with colleagues. The job can be stressful and unpredictable at times, but after a particularly stressful week (and sometimes for no reason), my employer will send me a nice email describing how he is thankful for the work that I do. Feeling that my role holds actual value and that I am irreplaceable make all the difference."

"I like the fact that I get to help people on a day to day basis. I do not like that I am in a position that most other people who are not in this position take for granted."

"I love the knowledge you gain from knowing the ins and outs of the business from the opposite end. I enjoy interacting with my coworkers and clients as well. I love learning and growing. I would love to continue to work in this type of position. I do not have anything negative to say about what I do, or else I wouldn't do it."

"I love the fact that I have the ability to work professionally. I love being on the move and focusing on the task ahead. What I didn't like about being an executive assistant was the commitment I had for the company and the lack of by those entry level workers."

"I absolutely love being in a sales and customer service position. I enjoy the variety of work and needs customers constantly present you. I am able to roll with the punches sales/customer service can present as well. I am mechanically minded and am able to pick up products and services quickly. I take great pride in my work. I was raised with an above average work ethic and what I do is who I am. Sounds corny, but this attitude makes me a great employee."

"I loved being an Executive Assistant to the CIOs and DCIO because it allowed me to partake in a lot of high-level projects that I normally would not have been able to partake in. What I disliked about it was the constant meetings that needed to be attended regarding the projects, only to spend the majority of the time waiting for the Japanese home office to make a decision."

"Being an EA is a tough job. You basically have to be prepared to do every thing to help an executive do his job. Be it a small or large task. Humility goes a long way and customer service skills are key. Imagine someone is always watching and remain poised, professional and polished at all times. I love being able to flex organizational skills and learn new programs as they come into play. I also enjoy the ability to take charge of things and control my work environment."
