"No not really but door to door sales is tough and if you get good at that you can do any sales work after that."

"No benefits and it is straight commission."

"To come up with some type of health coverage but I know I've run a business and health coverage is expensive to offer, and the guy I work for is a small distributor for Dish Network."

"Find another field, it's gone to the dogs."

"The fraud that is going on and the state can't do anything about it."

"Fire them, get competent individuals with integrity and respect."

"Ultimate Staffing is a contractor to DirecTV, filling both administrative and technical positions as required by market. DirecTV itself is a great company to be associated with, they take care of their people, it's technically challenging and a fun place to work."

"Make sure you know what you're getting into and that you can do the job."

What don't you like about working at DirecTV?

"It's not a full time position, there are no real benefits as a contractor, but often DirecTV does hire from its contractor technical pool, so, it's worth the wait."

"Keep up the good work."

"I learned a lot and had a chance to actually use some of what I learned in college and applied it. A lot of opportunity for growth."

"The interviewing manager can be a little stern. Keep that in mind, but be yourself."

"Very repetitive. Some people unfairly advanced for unfair reasons."

"Worry more about the person's quality of work and not on who they're friends with. The new manager needs to relax a bit more."

"There was lots of money to be made and they kept a person busy."

"Show up with clean urine and a little know how on how a house is put together. Also some basic AV skills will take you a long ways there."

What don't you like about working at DirecTV?

"Once you hit level 12 you can not make any more money than that ever if you use their vehicle. They put no thought of how they route a tech. You can have three jobs hundreds of miles away from each other, all needing to be done before 12 pm. Also, they treat their techs like machines. No rest for the wicked."

"Go out in the field and do installs for 2 weeks and then tell me what your suggestions are."

"It was a great place for career advancement opportunities for anybody that worked hard and with proven success."

"Have knowledge of basic computer skills."

"The earphones would bother my ears sometimes, but that's about it."

"Watch people on the teams closely, not everybody works as hard as the next person and the good ones can get left behind."
