I stayed on during the acquisition of the company by AT&T and continued to provide support for our entertainment products. While I may have disagreed with a number of the changes being acquired brought, one thing that remained constant was the sense of unity and familiarity with the people I worked with day-to-day."

"I worked at Directv for 2 years as a contracting software test engineer. The work environment was stress free. The work attire was casual and the management did not micro-manage, as long as you put in your 1-3 problem reports daily. However, if a "show-stopper" was missed when National code rolled out then someone usually got chewed, sometimes were fired. Over-time was not mandatory and we were able to work whatever hours on the weekends. Over-all I enjoyed my time at DirecTV."
