"Listen to your experts and support them. Do not avoid rough water."

"I have made a difference. I have implemented employee handbooks, have helped negotiate a 3 year extension with the union on their current contract. I have been very successful with employee relations while working in the confounds of a union environment."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Patience with the current status quo at the plant. It is a workforce with seniority dating back to 1953. Acknowledge that not everyone likes change and the current workforce is not IT save savvy."
What don't you like about working at Uniroyal Engineered Products?
"I am currently traveling 90+ percent of the time to the Wisconsin plant knowing my time is limited with the transition of my current position."

"Get the WC accidents in line with upgraded and continued safety training."

"I learned alot about managing a human resources department at this location."

"Be positive and demonstrate that you can manage a department."

"The controlled environment and lack of authority to manage human resources."
