What do you like about working at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute?

"The staff I work with are very dedicated despite great adversity and little respect received from the administration and members of the faculty. Being able to pursue my interests, research new technology/methods, experiment without concern for failure, health benefits."

What don't you like about working at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute?

"Top heavy and counter-productive bureaucracy often makes it near impossible to get work done. No pay raises or opportunities for promotion. Salary well below industry/geographic average for my title and experience. Being looked down upon and treated like a second class citizen, because I'm not faculty or possess a doctorate. RPI is very slow to change anything for the better. Most who work there have had every drop of enthusiasm they ever had for their jobs beaten out of them by the administration and are now just biding their time until retirement."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Take care of your employees and they will take care of you. See to the their needs at home and on the job, pro-actively seek their advice on ways to make things better, treat them with respect, and they will be loyal, happy, and productive."

What do you like about working at Staples?

"I enjoyed the work, new technology, and the people that make up a very dynamic company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The work at Staples was a 90 day contract, so I am limited in my assessment of the managment due to their location and my interaction with management."

What do you like about working at Neopost?

"Interesting and a variety of duties. Nice people for the most part. Casual environment."

What don't you like about working at Neopost?

"Always a contractor, poor pay."

What don't you like about working at En Pointe Technologies?

"Enpointe globle services is a great company, if offered another contract with them I will take it."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management know what they are doing and there is no room for extenal input. They are doing everything right."
