"- If they have strong embedded software- In the interview be open, listen and answer.- Don't be arrogant - try to have a spirit of service and willing to colaborate with others- be humble"

What don't you like about working at Delphi Automotive?

"Unfurtunately DelphI is automotive, and automotive industry has financial problems, DelphI Mexico technical Center has lay off a lot of engineers, years ago working there was secure, right now it is not."

"Excellent!!!!, Very open, willing to facilitate the process, excellent engineers with strong technical background, they promote team environment and good communication"

"This company does not believe in job security and its employees, so don't bet your dollar on it either!"

"Had the opportunity to interface with many gifted people and to learn a lot while traveling abroad."

"Try to put the right people in the right place regardless of degree's or years of employment. Most times... engineers do not make the best managers and vice versus."

"You are a number. The company would rather fail than impliment a good idea. No communication at any level."

"Listen to the people who know."

"The paychecks don't bounce....yet. Pay is good if you've worked there for quite awhile but is declining rather than increasing."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Yes-- don't. You can't find a worse place to work. Wages and benefits are declining rapidly. Engineers are expected to work 50+ hours per week for declining pay in a dirty, polluted, run down environment that is awful compared to Saginaw's third-world operations."

What don't you like about working at Delphi Automotive?

"It's a dirty, worn out rust belt factory with polluted air and people's desks shoved in hallways. The management is brain dead and makes the same mistakes over and over. The community is a war zone with crashing property values and one of Michigan's ugliest, least desirable places to live."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They don't respond to suggestions. Their motto is we will never over-communicate and they don't communicate at all. In my entire career, the worst place I have ever had to work."
