What do you like about working at Hospitality Solutions International?

"Nothing. I worked there for 7 years and left on my own, and it was a huge waste of time to work there."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't bother. You will hate it. HSI is powerless to make itself a good place to work because management is powerless to make decisions."

What don't you like about working at Hospitality Solutions International?

"Air conditioning and lights are turned off at 5 pm, though it is open 24 hours a day. Pay is inexcusable. Highest raise possible is 3%. Little room for advancement, ZERO if you are entry level - by design. There are HR policies in place (red tape) that blindly make it impossible to move up. Review scores dictate possible raises and performance reviews are approved by someone in another state, who has never even MET you."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Leave the company. People are mostly powerless to create change. Ideas are never listened to. The grass is greener. I left and found a fantastic company and have been happy for years since I left HSI."

"Most co-workers are helpful and friendly. Benefits are good. Hours are good."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Walk away- the job is simply not worth applying for . They don't pay well. Management is not trust worthy. You will worry the whole time you work there about job security."

What don't you like about working at Vertafore?

"The company is simply a micro managing company. They control all aspects of their employees time at work. For example, you have to account for any time out of your work chair (even in the bathroom). Training is random and scarce at best, however management does hold you accountable for not knowing the system but are unwilling to train. They use a NPS customer review system. If your no familiar with NPS look it up before you go to work for this company. Your fate and success is out of your hands with NPS and Vertafore. Customer reviews control your fate. On a scale of 0-10 (10 being the best) only 9/10 are beneficial. All others count against you."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Simply hold middle management to standards and make sure they are truthful with employees. Employees are scared to come to work for fear of losing their jobs due to unjust client reviews."
