"RUN as fast as you can, RUN!!!"

"Management was completely incompetent, ownership was crooked, thieving jerks, having to lie and deceive people for my paycheck."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get someone who is mature, honest, and not stuck in high school drama to run the company. Maybe start doing work that is not based on fleecing innocent people, get rid of all the drug addicts who work for them, and hire people with some experience and pride in their work."

"The only thing I liked was the experience of working with good friends."

"Walk away."
What don't you like about working at Blockbuster?
"Where to start. Lets see if you want a weekend off. Good luck with that, they will make you work every weekend. Oh and since I was an SL, I would have to close on a Saturday and open Sunday morning. Lovely. Another thing, they are for sales always. They make crazy sale goals and if you even come close to it they yell at you. If you actually make it, they find something else to yell about. Since I was making 10.50, they started an investigation on me for making fraud summer movie pass. Those things actually were selling and they came to me and said I was selling too much, and loss prevention wanted to talk to me. In the end they were going to fire me but forced me to quit. Listen to me, people, I been there for 2 years, don't think this is a great job. You will kiss your personal life good bye."

"Stop screwing around and actually treat your workers well or you're going to have more stores shut down."

"The constant change in schedule, but there was never an issue with keeping to my schedule"

"I liked the fact that we didn't have someone looking over our shoulder baby sitting us as we worked and it was very diverse."

"If you have any harassment of any type don't be afraid to let someone know, because you don't have work like that."

"I had a supervisor there that just could not stand me for some odd reason and I told human resources which only made it worse. being that he had seniority I was booted out."

"When you have an employee telling you they are being targeted and harassed by a supervisor and there supervisor, please listen to what they have to say and take it seriously."
