Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Caution !! There are many great departments and bosses. It is always being an only report and working remote, i.e., SD-HQ and Denver as second. An uncooperative boss makes this easy function, difficult."

What don't you like about working at Cricket Communications?

"Being a Senior GIS BI Analyst and the only direct report, and treated with contempt and unrealistic deadlines when OPEN positions were unfilled for 14 months. Was treated by boss with cooperativeness and belligerence."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The Manager moved to another department after the tenure of my resignation. Should have been removed from company instead of a resignation from the one doing all the work. An employee should not have to work with EAP and go to Physiological counseling to cope. This is with many Cricket employees."

What do you like about working at Cricket Communications?

"I love the people that work at Cricket. I like that Cricket is beginning to look at different PM methodologies, like Agile."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be resourceful. There is no how-to guide here. You have to be confident and resourceful. Go out and ask questions and track down answers. It's not on paper."

What don't you like about working at Cricket Communications?

"We are constantly being re-orged. The turnover in upper management is very high. There is too much finger pointing. Our timelines are too tight. There is a lack of talent in the PMO organization."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would concentrate on better execution. The IT PMO is a mess. We are constantly pushing out bad code and spending all of our time fixing defects instead of allowing the developers to provide input on the timelines. The managers and developers are given a calendar that is put together by the C level. C level does not understand how much time we need for each phase of the projects. They are willing to launch major projects in the 4th quarter that put sales at risk. When an issue arises, the fingers get pointed at managers and IT. There is too much finger pointing. The turnover rate at the C level is alarming. They have replaced everybody but the CEO. It's time to replace the CEO."
