"A lot of down time with absolutely nothing to do. This also meant - no overtime. So I played a lot of computer games to pass the day. Really no opportunity for advancement as this was the NYC location and the headquarters were upstate. So it was basically just me and my supervisor who was either on the phone or visiting health providers to train them in using the system CSC developed."

"Economy is bad so take the job but keep looking."

What don't you like about working at Computer Sciences Corp?

"No opportunity for advancement, received training which I really never used, too much down time with absolutely nothing to do. Also, worked for a very stressed out supervisor who had no hesitation in writing things up and no appeal from human resources."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My suggestion was to abolish my position during my exit interview and it was adopted. The position is no longer. Instead, they adopted a new position similar to the one my supervisor has."

"When hiring people, the management should consider more on one's aptitude or ability to learn, rather than giving all emphasis on years of experience. I encountered a lot of people with long tale of experience but have difficulty learning on their own and they end up less knowledgeable."
