"Good company with great work-life balance. More scope to use technology."
"Compass Group: It depends on which Unit you're assigned to."
"I have worked for Compass Group for 16 years and managed lately 80 associates with different job descriptions. I really enjoyed the culture and the teamwork environment. Compass Group is the leader in the Food Industry."
"Compass Group is a large and fantastic company. It's broad reach allows for a number of opportunities and experiences that can't be provided by a smaller company. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has drastically effected the business. But Compass Group is committed to keeping their employees and customers safe, no matter what. The workload will push your limits as a manager, but the experience and skill set that you will sharpen is well worth it."
"I worked for EUREST Dining Services a subsidiary of Compass Group. This is the second time I worked for this company in two different roles. I appreciate the opportunity they have given me to excel and heighten my career. I was able to work with the country’s best chefs and executive operators in the business. If the opportunity was available I would work for them again."
"I have worked for Compass Group for about 4 years as a food safety professional. Compass is one of the largest foodservice providers in the world at nearly 500,000 associates and 30 companies under their umbrella. Very innovative! Extremely aware of their footprint with the waste not want not a program. Great company to work for!"
"I worked for Compass Group since 1995 which included Bon Appetit and Eurest accounts. I enjoyed my position with the company and team members I was associated with over all the years. My duties were very fulfilling and I miss working with them."
"Its not a good work environment, personally I say its not a good place to work if you like managers that doesn't do anything for their employees."
"I have worked for Eurest, a division of Compass Group, for 17 years. Compass Group is the largest food service provider in the world which is what attracted me to work for this company. What is most impressive is the fact that this company is a leader in sustainability, diversity, technology and most importantly investment in their employees. I have worked with colleagues, who started in a hourly position and worked themselves up to mid or high level management position. Advancement is possible if one works hard and is eager to work."
"I am employed with Compass Group USA, but a contractor with Accenture in Boston, MA. My job role entails being the first face a guest or client sees when entering the building. Being a Guest Service Agent, you have to be ready to help and assist anyone whether it be in the office or virtually."
"Steady employment. Great CEO"
"I have worked at Compass for two years. An ethical and inclusive environment with genuinely nice hard working employees. However, a reactive business. They have multiple systems unique to the company that do not communicate making it impossible to be proactive. Even worse, there is no training, plenty of data collection, but nothing is actionable. Very frustrating."
"I've worked with Compass Group for 10 years, they are a great company with a lot of potentials to move up. They value career development and employee retainment. The management is helpful and supportive. I personally have worked in several positions across two counties with steady advancement along the way."
"I've found the company to be a disjointed company that has workers and staff who are in it for the money and the minimal effort, and I can say it's down to the lack of loyalty and recognition from the company. I would also say, how uncaring and money greedy the company is."
"So they took 3 hours a week away from us that’s 6 hours every 2 weeks and they still want you to bust your butt. Not even getting the 40 hours I was hired for and they keep adding on work. This company does not care about their Employees some of us can’t even afford to pay bills as it is and they took our hours away. You have plenty of other options for employment than this place so run while you can."
