"The Compass Group sure disappointed me. After work 70 hours a week for 6 months, and no help from management, I realized they didn't want me to succeed. My training was very poor, the pay was marginal and I was short staffed from the beginning. There was a big turnover on staff before I was hired, and the job pool was nonexistent. As soon as I quit, they fired the older woman that I had hired."

I started out at a small location and have worked my way up. There is lots of room for growth depending on the direction you would like to head in. Currently, my direct report has been in position for 17 years and I see no movement any time soon."

I feel that if you are someone that needs all the information of your job and the tools to do a great job provided to you this is not the place for you.I feel that the higher up management is great just wish that it would spread down to the lower management."

"The company was very stable but recently lost some major accounts. These losses resulted in drastic budget cuts affecting everything from payroll to building improvements. It was a great company to work for in the early 2000s but has suffered lately due to budget restraints and less than stellar senior management politics."
