Most of the employees are friendly and depending on the department you work in, you might be able to work from home a few times a month. Having said that, the company is going though some restructuring right now. They use a lot of contract workers and it can be frustrating to be there for years and still not be transitioned into a perm role. It all depends on the department and its leadership. There are departments I would never want to work in and others I would love to have the chance to return to work for. If you can get in as an employee and not just a contractor, it seems to be a good place to work for with room to transfer around into new roles, but most of the employees are overworked since there is a problem getting budget to bring new people on full time and not just through a contract position."
