"I worked at Citrix SaaS Division getting steadily good annual reviews and a promotion. But then the axe hit on March 7, 2014. 65 workers were laid off. Those with the best performance, greatest seniority and highest positions were terminated, while new junior workers were kept. This was a cut with no heart and no subtlety. At Citrix, no matter what your performance or commitment to the company, your job is not secure. Layoffs also occured in 2009 followed soon by the new work centers in India."
"I've worked here in Citrix in the past, it was a good position to kick start my salesforce career."
"Good for startup career but the company needs further better vision for leading a market which is struggling now."
"Management has been poorly manned in the past couple of years. While the company in previous years climbed to the top to the #2 position in its market, it has now failed and is currently in #6 position last time I checked. The net effect is poor planning and low morale."
"The management team is not completely doing the very best. The company is rather new and therefore some management practices like I have seen at bigger fortune 100 companies are missing."
"I've worked with Citrix for 5 years, One of the best things about working at Citrix is the flexibility - working from home, workshifting etc. The company generally tries to do the right thing; you can get shafted, but it's generally not by design. Company leadership is currently in flux - lots of new VPs and a new CEO on the way. The company has made some good acquisitions , but hasn't been able to harness much synergy between them."
"I have worked for Citrix Systems from 2011 and it's been a wonderful experience in terms of learning new technologies and working with diverse clients and consultants."
"I have worked for Citrix Systems since 2007 and was one of the first Citrix technical support engineers to support the new XenSource XenServer product. I have watched the team grow from 5 people to over 50 in a global environment supporting customers in small to very large environments, where they can leverage the benefits of virtualization."
"I've worked with Citrix since 2011 and the company has continued to grow. They offer an excellent work/life balance and the opportunity to work from anywhere. Salary is very competitive and the executive team cares greatly about benefits to the employee, providing paid volunteer days as well as a full benefits package."
"Had a great run."
"Put into a position that had no chance of making quota."
