"I worked at CGI for a little over a year. The benefits and pay is good for starting out but increases little to none for the time worked. The ability to talk about what you can do matters more than actual results when getting promoted. Overall I believe this is a good company to start out working for but decreases in attractiveness the longer you stay."

The feel for working in a component of a much larger company (from a 5,000 company to a 70,000 person company) is very different. I enjoyed working in the mid-sized company environment like Stanley where we were more able to know others in the company and had greater access to senior management. Within CGI Federal, we really don't have access to senior management."

"It was a lax place, people were friendly - you aren't worried with the short term when you have along term secured contract"

"Database work is boring and tedious - there was no real room for growth"

"Modernize - I hated being stuck with antiquated technology because someone bought a license way back when"
