"Amazing company to work for."

"Working for CGI is up and down. In one project, I had a dream job where I found much creativity and the work-life-balance was great (allowing some remote time, etc.). In other projects, it felt like the rest of the corporate world where there is very little room for advancement. It's a projectized culture: choose your project well and you will be happy."

What do you like about working at CGI?

"Consulting and the people I worked with day to day."

"Understand that once you roll off from an assignment, the company will let you go if they are unable to put you on another project."

What don't you like about working at CGI?

"No training and does not treat all employees the same."

"Pay attention to the feedback received from associates when asked."

"I like the flexibility to work remotely, and the great people that work for the company."

"Be yourself and show the company what you can do."

What don't you like about working at CGI?

"I do not like the health and retirement benefits as well as the leave time"

"Try to foster more of a learning environment and reward employees for their work."

"On my current project being able to work at home at my leisure is a major bonus."

"It's a good place to work, especially starting straight from college but I don't see any real room for improvement as far as salary goes."

What don't you like about working at CGI?

"I'm not doing the type of work I desire and i'm not getting paid what I should be for the type of work I'm doing."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"If I were running the show I wouldn't do anything different, she's a good manager and gets things done while letting people work in an environment that suites them."

"Present your good technical skills and you are in CGI"

What don't you like about working at CGI?

"I dont have anything which I dislike about my company"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My suggestion would be to give more technical trainings across CGI."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Do not trust them. They do make money by purchasing companies that are successful. They do not have the skills to go out and find new business. (Reason: they do not want to pay professionals) Like the phrase goes: Penny wise pound foolish."

What don't you like about working at CGI?

"Make promises that they do not wish to keep. Purchase new companies as investments at the end of fiscal year to offset the profits so they do not have to give the employees a Bonus as they say they have not reached their goals or expected profits to hand a Bonus."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stop thinking they are speaking to New employees who get fooled. Pay overtime when an employee works overtime and do not say they do not have a budget. Purchase Softwares tools and do not look for Pirated softwares (eg. UltraEdit, etc) as they expect the employees to work as slaves as they threaten they can transfer all of the jobs to India at a fraction of the cost 1/10 the salaries."
