Once you're in, you sign your life away to 8 am meetings that are nothing but lectures and change that's led by c-levels that have no clue on how to build a sales organization. Turnover is 100% / yr. Work conditions are horrible. Commissions are not paid on time nor are they ever right. Always in the company's favor. Disputes go on paper forms that get lost. Sales spiffs are never remembered. "I have worked for Cbeyond for almost 7 years and was a SR. OPS Manager. I led a team of 45 and had 1 remote office in Denver. We supported 60,000 customers for all voice, data and applications using leased LEC lines (T1 and Fiber). The company's SLT made poor decisions that affected the overall revenue for 2013 which led to laying off many people. We also started outsourcing our job functions to Manila. I would have enjoyed to continue to work for this company however that is not possible now."
"I've worked for Cbeyond since 2010. I found it to be a marginally stable company with few advancement opportunities. People do make lateral moves, but few actually advance. It is one of the lowest paying companies of its size I have ever worked for. They have historically retained employees due to their low layoff rate which is changing due to high customer churn and low number of new customers. Cbeyond has an extreme number of new customer complaints and should be looked at with caution."
