"They're always ready to train and care for good employees."

"Always tell the truth. (The San Leandro plant was closed. Most jobs are midwest.)"

What don't you like about working at Caterpillar?

"It takes a while to get to work on 1st shift."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Upper management was excellent. A few shop floor foremen were not people persons. However, I did get along with all foremen I worked for. I always gave more than 100%"

"The opportunities and the pay were excellent. I enjoyed the hands on way of problem solving that they allowed."

"Be honest. Sit down and make a notebook of examples of questions that you feel they may ask."

What don't you like about working at Caterpillar?

"Really nothing. Other than the lay off."

"Use Six Sigma tools the way that they were intended. Lean and cost cutting does not always mean cheap."
