"Product Support from company is the worst I have ever seen. Being cussed at by upper management I don't tolerate. Discrimination practices by upper management and then HR turns their back on employees. The company itself has good benefits but upper management needs to go back to school and learn proper techniques. The open door policy would be fine if you could get them to answer their phone or even return your phone call."
"Good place to work for a large company like CAT. Hard to move up due to low turnover in management and many of the higher positions are filled by CAT Inc. resources."
"I have worked in CAT since 2011 and different areas and really love the work culture."
"Used to be a great company, but no longer. Constant threat of layoffs... better be a 'yes' person and subscribe to the group think if you want to fit. No room for any critical thought process at this company. Sad how the egos have taken over."
"The answer for my relationship with my supervisor was with my service manager and not the branch manager. The branch manager at the Mason City branch I'd rather not comment on.The company is based out of Minneapolis and the company as a whole is a good company, except the branch manager at Mason City."
"I liker Caterpillar culture and people."
"Nice place to work. I really felt great beginning my professional career with this company."
"I have worked in Caterpillar since 2005 and have learned and grown with this company."
"Caterpillar is a great company with great benefits and lots of wonderful people. I like to think that the experience I had at the North Little Rock facility is an outlier stemming from inexperienced management and a far-flung location. Should I ever have another opportunity to rejoin CAT, I would likely take it."
"I am currently working in Caterpillar as a Quality Engineer for Large Power System Division (LPSD). I am an industrial Engineer and I am glad that my knowledge is being utilized."
