"Great place to work. They treat the employees like family and you enjoy coming to work."
"I came to work at Cabot to fill in some experience gaps in my area of expertise. That goal has been accomplished so I will never regret my time here. The benefits are above average, with a good rate on health insurance and a good percent of 401K company contributions. There are a lot of long-term employees at my location, which is good and bad. There have been one too many layoffs here so people are very protective over their job responsibilities, and managers can be petty. Finger pointing starts before projects really get going, just in case something goes awry. There are excessive office politics, although I think this might be specific to IT."
"In general, Cabot is a decent company with some serious management issues. As for the pros: some very intelligent people are employed here; decent salaries and good benefits. On the con side: tend to over think most decisions; work life balance is way out of balance towards the work side; you need a specific educational pedigree to advance and flourish here (if you went to MIT or an Ivy League school, you have a chance; if not, good luck); very structured and systems oriented environment."
