"Go down the street to BP, Conoco, or even Citgo (aka PDVSA)."

What don't you like about working at Cabot?

"There is very little social interaction. My coworkers were not interested in getting to know me even after going out of my way to talk to them. The compensation was lacking (reservoir engineers are paid much less here than other medium size oil and gas companies). There is very little direction given, so you had better be able to read minds."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Improve the salaries to, at least, meet with industry averages. Don't just offer, but encourage, educational & professional growth."

"Nothing. The division I worked for were like snakes."

"Unprofessional back stabbers."

"Pick your lead personnel based on more than just seniority. Do a more thorough review of your management before putting them into supervisory positions."

"Good peers. Good relationship between business and R&D"

"If they are giving you a promotion to come, and you don't think you will get the promotion at your current company, come. If you are coming thinking that you will eventually be promoted, forget it."

"Too much turmoil in upper management. Always bringing in people from outside over developing and promoting from within."

"Give more opportunities for promotion, and stop being so enamored with outside hires."

"The compensation"

What don't you like about working at Cabot?

"Only allowed to have two days off per month, when I started there I worked 42 days in a row before my first day off, after that only 2 days off poer month. In interviewing there I had been asked if I didn't mind overtime. Even though there were some nice people, the Union relationship was combative and very dangerous chemicals and materials are intrinsic to the process."

"I love the environment, the people, my schedule and the challenges I face on a daily basis."

What don't you like about working at Cabot?

"I feel like there is no room for growth within the company. I want a career where I have opportunities to advance with the company."

"Just listen to employees. Some of their suggestion can be vital. And if the opportunity presents it self to help a fellow employee advance help them."
