"This job is perfectly flexible for going to school. It pays well for a part time job and the environment is upbeat. Great job security which is also nice for students."

"Be happy. Know what you are talking about and apply at the right time."

"There is very little room for growth. While it pays well considering the flexible schedule it also doesn't pay enough."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Involve students more in planning processes. Improve the communication between departments."

What do you like about working at Brigham Young University?

"I loved what I was doing, despite the horrifically early hours and hard manual labor. (Cages are heavy!) It allowed me to revamp an inefficient work system, but more importantly gave me experience while getting the money I needed to buy school books and feed myself."

"Be willing to need a shower when you're done working... t's a stinky sweaty job but it's good for ya!"

"Can't think of anything."

"If Earl is still there, he's awesome! I have no suggestions for him but keep up the good work."

"Brigham Young University offers a wide variety of different jobs that allow students to work while still taking classes. I personally loved interacting with the students I served in the Math Lab and the people I worked with became fast friends. I have learned so much and have gained many unique experiences."

"Always be yourself and have a strong resume."

What don't you like about working at Brigham Young University?

"We are only able to work 20 hours a week at BYU, which is good for a single student, but for married students, working only 20 hours can be difficult."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"No suggestions. Management is fabulous!"

"The schedule was very flexible. I was able to set my own schedule around my course schedules. The work was interesting and challenging. The environment is very conducive to productivity."

"I was only a student developer, so I didn't receive any benefits. Though, several of my fellow student co-workers went on to become full-time employees and received benefits."

"Don't shut out technologies just because they're not sponsored/developed by Microsoft."

"Review the teaching manual and techniques becuase they mostly base their decision to hire you on your score from the speech they make you give."

"It was hard being around such young beginners all the time. Also the co-workers were often too uptight."

"Just to clarify, in stead of Brigham Young this should be Quomation Insurances. BYU was my college, not an employment. But I really like my co-workers here, we get along great."

"Theres a test you have to take after the interview, be smart on it."

"The work is a little too mundane and repetitive for me. Its not very fulfilling."

"More emphasis on Goals. More opportunity to find variation in daily tasks."
