"At the WORST economic time, for construction in Oregon (end of 2008 and into 2009...construction unemployment was/is 25%), Kaycan fired me because they thought the poor sales numbers were my fault! Huh!"
What do you like about working at Kaycan?
"While I was there, I had the BEST CSR and Delivery Driver in the entire company; and I miss not being there for them. Since I was let go, (August of 2009) they have already hired 3 people for the management of the branch. The are truly horrible a horrible company to work for!!!!!"
What don't you like about working at Kaycan?
"The owner of the company took it over from his father; need I say more"

"Sell the company to somebody that actually wants to sell high-quality products."

"Change the hiring process to include a better compensation progran that is right for experienced salespeople."

"I liked the people and the competitive positioning of the company. I liked the industry itself and the opportunity to work closely with Autodesk."

"If you are not comfortable with change, then pass on the opportunity."

"Tumultuous top/down management changes that caused disruptions in business. Also, inability to act quickly to address serious local challenges."

"Make sure your clear on the expectations of the company before accepting an offer because If I wouldn't of asked certian questions about the job requirements I would have been surprised."
What don't you like about working at Labor Ready?
"As the manager/sales manager if one of my CSR's called in sick I would have to cover both shifts taking time away from my sales. I start every day at 5:30am and if a CSR was sick or on Vaccation I would have to stay until 6:00pm"

"Improve office procedures so that there is limited interferance with sales activities"

"meeting and talking to our customers, trade shows."

"I was stuck behind a counter for 8 hours and sometimes 11 depending on the schedule."

"Overall it was done rather well. I liked my District Manager."

"micromanagement, not a growth environment, poor lines of communication."
