"Get to know your mid manager and find out what makes them tick.. It isn't all about numbers it's how you get those numbers."

"Be open but firm. Treat everyone with respect and demand respect from everyone. Don't show favortism."

"I believed in this Supply Chain Transportation company, so much so I was able to promote my brother a job in Pennsylvania."

"Company was a teacher, coach and leader in quality and allowing employed to perform work duties as to complete the chores correctly, the first time. No re-work."

"My suggestion is to listen, observe, learn and participate. Its work that provides more than one is able to give back."
What don't you like about working at ABF Freight Systems?
"As with most companies there is struggle with company politics. ABF had grown to the point where downsizing was eminent, because of recession and age. Banks were less likely to lend even though ABF had favorable credit lines of borrowing."

"My continued efforts were to follow our educational traits the ABF fore fathers of the business had ingrained into the fiber of the companies employees. Do our jobs right the first time, then do our work right once again."

"I have had some problems with employees not using the chain of command when it comes to there concerns and complaints."

"The pressure to sell products is ridiculous; they had people pulling out illegal stops in order to reach the ludicrous goals they set for you."
