"I was not a big fan of the overall location of this job; it was in a Bass Pro Shop and I sometimes felt that we weren't as recognizable inside the store as we could be."

"Have a little more separation from the Bass Pro look so that it is a little more noticeable of who we are."

"It's best to show up wearing professional attire. Too many young people show up in casual clothing for their interviews."

"The earning potentail and room for advancement is very limited."

"There needs to be a regularly scheduled meeting for associates to get updates about upcoming initiatives."

"I worked there for a year. I didn't care for the company. It seemed almost like we were scamming people out of their money. We worked outside in all weather regardless of snow or rain. There was little help or training support."

"I worked for this company for more than five years. The department I worked in was a toxic working environment and unabashed favoritism. When I first started with Bluegreen I loved going to work. After about 6 months I realized there is a long-standing culture of favoritism and lack of support for the non-essential employees. The way I was treated by the manager and director was mean spirited, cruel, heartless and in my opinion bordered on retaliation. My position was terminated in a way that I could not get a severance payout and I could not get unemployment benefits. This is just one of the mean spirited and spiteful experiences myself and coworkers experienced within the department."

However, the company had unrealistic deadlines on an hourly rate where we were seldom allowed to take over time.One monitor instead of two monitors, outdated filing system, and using Windows XP really made completing tasks more difficult than they needed to be."

"Can make money, is what's told at interview, expected to make quota each week, first verbal, then written warnings are given, third written you're fired, end of story, uses fear tactics to sell packages, company has high turnover rate, and getting worse as the months go by, this company is not for you if you have a family to support, your job is on the line, they have no regards for you as a person."

"I learned a great deal working with Bluegreen Corporation it was time for me to move on in my career path. I want to work for a company who respects their employees and recognizes that it is a team effort to be successful."

"Being involved in the creative side of the business was great. Going to the properties was nice, it is great to get out of the office."
