"I worked here at Bell Helicopter for 18 months. This has been a very nice company to work at, and the employees have been great and have great work ethics."
"Laid back company to work for. Many levels of management. Needs lab/office upgrade. Cronyism."
"I worked as an intern at Bell Flight during the Summer of 2020. They were very accommodating and worked hard to get interns an in-person internship during a difficult time. It is a good company in good position to perform well into the future, but it can be bogged down by it's parent company, doesn't necessarily pay the best, and doesn't seem to have a lot of upward mobility."
"I enjoyed working for Bell. It's a company that has potential to grow and grab a large share of the market. With the right leadership Bell can be one of the leaders in Aerospace. Bell seems to be making decisions to move the company in the right direction. Investing in research, investing in themselves by aggressively pursing new technology on the military and commercial side. Also upgrading the system used to do everday business."
"I've worked for Bell for several years and still do. For every 1 good thing you find about the company, there are at least 2 or more bad ones. They lay off good employees to bring in cheaper replacements, but constantly preach recruiting the best talent. Management and their attempt at this lean manufacturing is going to run this place into the ground just like what happened at GM. I'll be starting a blog soon so make sure to search in the next month or so......."
"I worked at Bell for about 8 years. I enjoyed the experience while there and gained many skills for what I want to do as my career. For those that prefer a more creative workplace, look elsewhere."
"OK company with good benefits."
"The company has great benefits, tuition reimbursement, low healthcare costs, great vacation time, the whole company shuts down between Christmas and New Years and you get paid for it! The company match for retirement savings is great also."
"Direct and unorganized in some departments."
"The management at Bell Helicopter was pretty good. They always treated me with respect. I could always go to them for assistance with my day to day activities. The work environment was average. My co-workers were great and very helpful. The compensation structure was lacking. No incentives, such as bonuses at the end of the year. The merit raises were poor each year. Overall, it was an average place to work."
