"Because of the size, customer service is only great at the branch, 800 numbers are not functional anymore, especially for senior citizens."

"Tons of tenured people that didn't do well with change. Compensation was inconsistent with talent. Slow."

"Exceed expectations and you will be ok. The company does not accept mediocre behavior. Strive for exception results."

"It is a large place, and associates are typically over-worked. Therefore, to make improvements is a challenge in this type of environment, which can hinder the progress. Communication between departments is poor."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My suggestion is for management to become more involved with their direct reports and make time for more personal observation before assessments are made and action plans drawn."

What do you like about working at Bank of America?

"I enjoy dealing with the clientele and assisting them to increase their wealth. I also started from the bottom (teller associate) and had the opportunity of being a Large Banking Center Manager (AVP)."

"Be genuine and/or be yourself."

"I left them to establish my own business. I actually enjoy working at Bank of America."

"Be proactive and treat others the way you would like to be treated, with respect and dignity."

"The Bank has been going through problems because of the economy. Is starting to close up to 10% of their branches."
