"Working for such a large company can be difficult as it can be easy to get lost with such large numbers of employees."

What don't you like about working at BAE Systems?

"Upper Management treats the employee's as if they are numbers instead of people. There is little concern by the higher ups about the people that pour their blood sweat and tears into the work that they provide. BAE preaches that they are there to Help those that help us however the bottom line is, BAE is here to help them, they trade the users needs for the helping to advance the company rather than the product."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stick to the Objective and actually think about the service men and women that are out there fighting for all of us."

What do you like about working at BAE Systems?

"I enjoyed all aspects of working with BAE Systems though as a contractor there were certain activities that could not be enjoyed. I particularly like the fact that BAE Systems would allow contract employees to take training courses just like they were regular BAE Systems employees."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Patience. All of the HR department and hiring management staff are very, very slow in reviewing resumes AND providing feedback. Whether you are being considered for a position, interviewing or hiring the whole process is very slow and frustrating."

"No real complaint other than the Program Management leaders did not take an active role in discussing the status of projects."

"Ensure that the Program Office is more accountable for the quality of work. Also, insist that PM do not remain in their office. A more proactive style of management is needed (i.e. direct managers and above need to be more active in discussing activities/expectations/etc with employees including contractors)"

"The hours of work can get bad sometimes and the upper management needs to understand to keep the business going, they need to keep the experienced and talented employees during a down turn and loss of contracts."

"Stop trying to move technical expertise out of state and do not mess up a great team of professionals."
