"The pay in my field is very low but the work demands are comparable to better compensated fields."

"I would encourage collaboration among the faculty rather than making them fight for small merit raises."

"the students. the dean is supportive. i'm not under a lot of scrutiny."

"colleagues are stubborn, petty, unhappy people who resist positive change because it is difficult."
