What do you like about working at Parker Hannifin?

"It used to be a great place to work. Management was terrible."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I would never suggest anyone to work for this company."

What don't you like about working at Parker Hannifin?

"Management shipped everything to Mexico and China. They were not able to change their business model to adjust to changes in work."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Review your policy, it needs a major overhaul. Main reason for being upset is a lot of people still working who are there only because of race. Certain people have been wrote up/disciplined a hundred times, but are still there. I have never been written up for anything and have proven myself to be an excellent worker, but I am laid off only due to seniority."

"Drive pass Davenport Works and Dont look back."

What do you like about working at John Deere?

"People ask me where do you work I get to say I work at John Deere."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If this is your absolute last rersort to work here, just try and focus on saftey and quality. They like to hear this."

What don't you like about working at John Deere?

"I have worked at John Deere Davenport for 7 years. The first 5 years were great! We had great CEO's and Supervisors. I would say 95% of the wage workers were happy. The last 2 years have been awful. New management is probley the worst I have seen in my life time. They dont listen to problems or ideas from wage workers. They play the blame game to the Business Unit Manager. Supervisor's blame wage workers for down time 99% of the time. Most of the down time is due to lack of supervisor skills to cordinate the work day,Supply Management and horrible Time Study Engineer's. The Business Unit Manager is clueless and thinks his staff is doing thier jobs. Most of the supervisor's now treat everyone like they are dirt. I cant comment on any other Deere plant but Davenport. I assume Davenport is the worst because it cant get any lower. New hires are treated even worse. They are expected to run a job then stop in the middle of the day and run a different job. Half the time they are not proplery trained. Wage workers agian then take a hit on poor quality becasue the supervisor can not organize training."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The Business Unit Manager needs to hold its salary team accountable for thier actions. No action means no productivity. Dont just trust your salary worker because they are salary. We are all supose to work together not fight eachother. Alittle give and take gets things done!"
